Challenge
We have over 30 years of experience in specifying, procuring and building Danfoss PVG Valves for customers, meaning we are perfectly placed to support customers with major projects, no matter what industry.
The challenge is to deliver bespoke PVG Valves for multiple applications in different industries, ensuring that they are fit for purpose in whatever environment they are placed in. Thankfully our team can provide support at every stage of your project, from design all the way through to installation.

Concept
Within the Danfoss PVG range, you will find options for low to high-flow needs, with all options offering precise operation and improved productivity. Two examples include:
- Danfoss PVG 32 Valve – this hydraulic load-sensing valve is designed to give maximum flexibility. From a simple load-sensing directional valve, to an advanced electrically controlled load-independent proportional valve, the PVG 32 modular system makes it possible to build up a valve group to meet precise requirements
- Danfoss PVG 120 Valve – this is a combined directional and flow control valve which is supplied as a valve group consisting of modules specified to match particular customer needs. The flexible nature of this valve will allow an existing valve bank to be easily adapted, if system requirements change
Solution
The Danfoss PVG valve range comprises of PVG 16, PVG 32, PVG48, PVG 100, PVG 120/8 and PVG256, providing flexible customisation with numerous configurations available.
The PVG family of valves allows you to combine multiple valves of up to four different sizes into a single, fully integrated solution with the widest flow range on the market. They can be used with fixed and variable displacement pump based systems, with over 1 million valve stack combination possibilities available.
With control options such as manual, on/off, analogue, digital and CAN, it allows you to use these valves in industries such as agriculture, construction, marine, off-shore, and forestry. The PVE-EX actuator also allows these valves to be used in explosive areas, expanding its capability.

Benefits
Danfoss PVG valves are a perfect choice for the marine industry, particularly for winches and bow thrusters. However, PVG valves can be used across various different applications including agricultural vehicles, telehandlers and vehicle transporters.
If you require a custom-made PVG Valve, our Danfoss specialists can make modifications from our Engineering Solution Centres in Cork and Gloucester, to suit your requirements.
